On Hold One 5.25 carats oval tanzanite, exceptional color, SI2 clarity, cut grade excellent, measuring 9.9 mm wide, 11.7 mm long, 7 mm deep; with excellent polish and excellent symmetry. The proportions of the tanzanite are as follows: total depth 70.7%, table width 37%. The overall quality rating of this tanzanite is 723 out of 1000. Tanzanite was cut by Steve Moriarty. This quality rating number is low due to the Si2 clarity. The imperfection that gives it the Si2 grading is at the girdles or outor edge of the stone and is visible from the left side of the ring in the video but very difficult to see from the top viewing angle from the of ring. Everything about this ring is outsanding except the clarity and the price is $1500 less because of the clarity grading. Clean this is a $700 per carat gem.
